Moldboard: Moldboard shall be smooth rolled design. The roll radius of the moldboard shall be 22" for the first 22" and 10" for the last 12". Moldboard shall be constructed of not less than 10 ga. high strength carbon steel, A607 Grade 50 or equal. Mild steel is not acceptable. Moldboard shall be reinforced with two (2) full length formed box sections of not less than 10 gauge, A-607-50 steel. The outer ends of the plow shall be reinforced with 5/8" steel ribs extending from the lower support angle to the top of the moldboard. Top edge of the moldboard shall be double flanged or reinforced with a minimum 2" x 2" x 3/16" A-36 angle iron. The bottom moldboard support structure or frog shall be a minimum 5" x 3-1/2" x 1/2" thick A-36 MOD angle iron boxed the entire distance between bolt holes for reinforcement. Moldboard shall have built in snow deflectors. The built-in snow deflectors shall extend approximately 6" beyond a vertical line drawn from the leading edge of the cutting edge when the attack angle of the cutting edge is at 15 degrees (measured from vertical). |

Power Reverse Assembly: The hydraulic reversing cylinders shall be two (2) double acting, minimum 3" diameter, 20" stroke with 1-1/2" 36 hr. salt spray chrome plated shafts. Hydraulic cylinders shall be capable of high pressure operation and shall be burst strength tested to 8,000 psi. The hydraulic circuit shall include a hydraulic cushion valve to protect the circuit from sudden impact. | ||

Hydraulic Lift Cylinders Shall be two (2) minimum double acting 3" diameter I.D. X 11-1/2"" stroke. The cylinder shafts shall be minimum 1-1/2" diameter and shall be coated with minimum 36 hour salt spray chrome. Hydraulic cylinders shall have an operating pressure of 2500 psi and shall be tested for a minimum 7,500 psi burst strength. Hydraulic cylinders shall have urethane Poly-pack seals and urethane wiper.
Mounting Assembly: The reversible angle push frame shall be of heavy duty construction. The push frame shall attach to the moldboard by means of a 1-1/2" pin. The main components of the push frame shall be manufactured of 4" x 4" x 1/4" wall square tubing, Grade A-500B or better. Power reversible snow plow shall incorporate a free floating oscillating feature to allow the plow to follow the changing road contours. This feature shall not be sacrificed if plow is equipped with any quick coupler. Push bars or quick coupler shall attach by means of not less than a 2" pivot bolt.
