FEATURES:

• This is a modified version of the 29" Husting Hitch. It has been modified to fit Falls Standards so now it's stronger, more flexible and reliable. A chain left has also been added to the truck-mounted portion. This delivers a smooth, "no pry" lifting action. The plow mount is made of rugged 8" x 4" x 1/2" angle iron with the entire length of the sliding pin slot reinforced with 1" square and 5" x 3" x 5/16" angle iron. It also has a center pivot pin which allows oscillation for closer manufacturing tolerances between truck and plow portions.

The following specifications are designed to assist you in acquiring a Falls® #21B Bumper-to-Frame Husting Hitch or its equal. Differences in manufacturing designs are acknowledged. The dimensions within the specifications are intended to indicate the size, type, and quality of unit desired.

• Mounting Assembly: The snow plow mounting system shall be Falls #21B Hitch System or equal. Snow plow connection mechanism shall be the Modified Husting Hitch as manufactured by Little Falls Machine, Inc. or equal.
  Modified Husting Hitch, male unit, shall be 29" wide + or - 1/16" and shall incorporate a chain lift mechanism. Corresponding female unit shall be 29-3/16" inside dimension + or - 1/16". Female unit shall be constructed of 1/2" x 8" x 4" A-36 angle iron. The connection slot shall be reinforced along the entire length of the rear side of the opening with 1" square steel bar. The entire length of the slot shall be additionally reinforced by 5/16" -5" x 3-1/2" a-36 angle iron.
  The female attachment shall provide for an oscillating connection to the snow plow. Mounting system shall adapt to frame of truck chassis and shall be adequately braced to the truck chassis frame by minimum 3/4" x 4" A-36 steel bars which shall be additionally reinforced to form a "T" section.
  Stabilizer arms shall be attached to the chassis frame by means of 1/2" thick steel "Z" brackets. Vertical risers and plow lifting yoke shall be low profile to allow clearance for tilting hood without tilting or disconnecting plow/wing lift hitch. All mounting components shall be bolted to the truck chassis.
• Lift Assembly: Hydraulic plow lift cylinder shall be minimum 4" x 10" single acting type with 36 hr. salt spray chrome plated rod. Hydraulic cylinder shall be certified to a minimum of twice (2X) the working pressure of the hydraulic system.
